Here’s the deal. If you claim to be anti-rape, you’ve actually got to be anti-rape. You can’t (supposedly) hate rape, while still love everything which enables rape and follows from the fact that we live in a rape culture.
That’s like calling yourself vegan as long as you didn’t actually kill the cow. It’s totally cool for you to load and hand over the gun, though, and be there with your knife and fork as soon as the stake hits the grill.
So, hey, rape fans; I’m talking to you. If you’re in favour of rape culture, you’re a rape fan. If you shout down arguments against rape culture, you’re a rape fan. If you don’t think women deserve the same treatment and opportunities as men, you’re a rape fan.
